My oil rinse almost killed me!!!!

That's why I do my hot oil or oil rinse in the sink. I made a body scrub out of sugar, honey, and evoo and almost hit my head on the towel rack I'm especially careful with my conditioner too. Falling in the shower is no joke

I step into the shower pretty much prepared to slip and fall so I haven't been caught off guard in a while.

I read about some little boy that slipped and fell in the shower and died. Be careful ladies.

Becareful ladies a friend of mine lost her eye when she fell in her bathtub.

I tried an oil rinse over the weekend and I was in the shower where I always wash my hair and once I started with the oil the entire tub got coated with a layer of slippery death. Am I the only one this has happened too? It never even crossed my mind that this could be dangerous until I was tumbling out of the shower. I had nothing to grab on to as I went plummeting towards the hard porcelain toilet. The shower curtain tried it's hardest to stop me as it clung to my wet skin for dear life but it's efforts were in vain.

Needless to say I had to wash out the tub before venturing back in but not before I completed my rinse in the SINK.erplexed No worries, my hair was okay just a few advil for my back but not a single strand was hurt in the process. Never again.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Oh sh*t that just made my day! Man, ya'll come up with some creative ways to say you busted your *ss!

Ya'll are right, this is serious but HAHAHAHAHA! Damn girl! I almost killed myself climbing out the bath tub after using The Body Shops, satsuma scrub.

lmao. I've done this many times, and I've feel on my marble floor. The tub, when washing, is so dangerous. I tend to laugh at my fall afterwards, and then the pain kicks in. I've done what you did, too. It is dangerous. That is how many elderly people die and get injured.

Exactly @ the bolded. NO OIL IN THE SHOWER AFTER 50- you might die.

Oh Lord!! I knew it was dangerous but I just wanted to share a laugh. I'm gonna be real careful, for real now. I'm gonna have to try a towel in the tub next time, if there is a next time. Thanks for all the replies ladies.

Yup. They're slippery too.

I don't know, maybe y'all think it is yucky to put a towel inside the bath tub but that will create the most friction. Body Scrubs and oil rinses must have a towel inside if you guys are in the shower.
