Actually, yes it does. It gives more of a 'wave' effect than curlies. My hair shrinks so bad after I wet it, so doing it this way makes it look better to me, IMO.

I think doing pincurls on your hair would look fabulous. Try it and see.

Make sure when you put the moisture in your hair, massage it in really good all the way down to the ends and then, twist, twist, twist and then pincurl it. I don't use any bobbypins or anything...I just tuck the ends under the pincurl and it stays nice. Then, I put my scarf on.

Ok, thanks for the tips. I hope i can do pin curls on my mass of curls, lol. I will try it and if I get frustrated i'll do some bantu knots:lol: .

I've been using noodlehead too. By the way ladies it is on special @ sally's..I believe it is $2 or $3 off when you buy 2 products the beyond the zone.....

Pokahontas your hair is gorgeous. You got me tempted to go out and get a texturizer so I can try and get some curls but I know I"ll end up looking like I have a Soul Glo from coming to America.
 
Which NoodleHead are you all raving about? I bought the noodlehead curling creme but i find that although my hair looks good using it, it leaves my hair a bit dry by the end of the day. i am a 3c-4a natural. any tips or suggestions, or am i using the wrong product? Naturaline mentions the NoodleHead "soften your curls" product. Is that the one I should have picked up?

For the ladies that asked here's the noodlehead I used.....

If you use too much and get a crunchy feeling use some oil after your hair dries. That will soften it up.
 
Thanks to Poka, I'm on the Noodlehead bandwagon too - I have used it for my ponytail a couple of times. I have gotten three days out of it by braiding at night. I am going to try a full wash n' go as soon as I have enough free time to airdry around home (I don't want to accidentally end up a H.A.M.!:perplexed !) But I think it makes my hair a bit dry. I think I'm going to add some conditioner/oil to it.

Oh, and Poka, beautiful curls girl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
