My next big experiment is........

I plan on mixing a clear rinse with conditioner to see it I get the same great shine as doing them separate. Since I started using clear rinses my hair texture is so smooth, it really seals the cuticles.

My next big experiment is a sew-in and I can't wait!! :) I'm nervous cuz I've never had one before so I have NO clue how to take care of one. I have already been researching here on LHCF. But come 2010, I'll have my a short bob style. :yahoo:

Gelatin - I was researching making a gel with this when I ran across a mask that celebrities use so I have a couple of ways I want to try to use it

You and I are on the same wavelength. Gelatin is my next experiment. I'm going to mix it in with my favorite conditioner and water and see if I feel a difference in the strength of my hair. Hopefully it works and then I won't have to worry about buying protein treatments (since gelatin is hydrolyzed collagen).

I want to start using indigo; I'm tired of these orange highlights from the henna. I want jet black hair.

modifying my regimen with more moisturizing products. I loaded up on Qhemet and Darcys Botanicals. Im also going to try my curlformers

I'm already doing this and I like it so far. My hair isn't breaking not even a quarter as much as before. I intend to keep this up for more added strength to my hair. I always do them between my braids installs:yep:.

I'm thinking of choppin goff my hair again...I feel like its not healthy since while it's cronrowed the ends seem fuzzy and strings of hair seem to come off...

I will return to black hair this weekend, ad i also want to flat iron it to see the long, i want to try the Hally Berry look.

For the last few years I have been tempted to try Henna and Indigo to cover my greys but the thought of having to keep it up puts me off.

I want to try Cassia also and will probably try this first

Ive been trying to experiment with Tea rinses, to see what all the hype is about. I have alot of shedding in the front and want to see if it helps at all. SOOOOO..... Ive incorporated green tea into my BANGIN spray Leave-in, and a Black Tea rinse on wash day!
Try rosemary tea.

I've got to really great experiments on the horizon that I'm very excited about. The first is that I'm going to do my first sew in on myself. And I'm going to do a crochet braids technique in the front instead of leaving hair out to cover the tracks. I'm super excited because this will allow me to have all my hair protected without the weight of a wig.

My second experiment is that I have a whole bunch of BKT; and don't suspect I'll be using the the rest of my 2% global now that my Dreamhair is here. So, I'm going to BKT my weave hair with the 2% Global and see if that will keep it from tangling!!

I just roller sett my hair. Before that I did a braid out. I don't know what els I want to try. I don't really want to do anything els to my hair. If I do to much I am afraid that my hair will brake off or be damaged. I am getting it back to health from what I did last christmas and it is getting better.

Ecostyler gel on my spriggies...I mean, I play with it on the weekend...But I want to be able to wear a nice, neat look to work. If I could just get the gel:hair ratio right...(the air dry time is UNBELIEVABLE...and I've only got ONE INCH of hair!:wallbash:)

When I use ecostyler for a wash n go, I blow dry on cool until I can at least touch the hair without gel coming off.

Cassia Obavata... and wen. I'm attempted to incorporate that with Diva smooth. My hope is to be moisturized and able to loosen my curls without relaxing my hair. I'm also adding Moisture block in the mix..I hope WEN works...still waiting to receive my order... I really want it to work. Hiarveda gel and afroveda exilir will be added to regimen.

My next big experiment is........

1. Garlic & coconut oil treatment
2. ACV rinse
3. Rollersetting
4. DCing on a REGULAR basis!!!!

I'm done experimenting...I'm sticking to my regimen and not trying anything new for a while!

I do want to try a sew in weave with indian hair one day though....

I'm in the midst of experimenting with more frequent deep conditioning sessions with "scheduled maintenance." I am DCing every three days, with regularly scheduled shampoos, detangling, and ACV rinses.

I also plan on trying some cuter protective styles--maybe some vintage-inspired looks.

ETA: I don't want to experiment with anything that will cause me a setback. I cannot imagine how more moisture and better protective styles will harm me.

My next experiment is to blow dry my hair. I have not done this in a couple of years and just want to try something different. If I chicken out I will try a roller set.
