Well, after asking around I have found that the Manic Panic line does fade pretty quickly, which is something I was interested in because I didn't want to be stuck with just one color. When this purple fades I was thinking of a hot pink or a vampire red. That idea of a pink with purple sounds intriguing. Once I'm finished "playing" I'll just do a semi-permanent in a more natural color like an auburn.

It was almost as if they were expecting something like this from me, which is bizarre because every since I stripped my relaxed hair of pigment with Uncolor in highschool..........:nono:


I never looked at color the same way again.

It's been 5 years if not more that a permanent color has touched this head and I just had this urge to "try" it.

Now I'm not too sure on the henna'ing and I'm sure that these other more knowledgeable ladies could answer that one.:yep:

I have henna'd in the past but it was while I was transitioning and I haven't revisted yet.

If I'm not mistaken, the henna is a part of your hair now and every time you henna you add another layer so lifting that might prove interesting, but once it's lifted I don't see why you couldn't hendigo over that. Your hair would definately benefit from the protein. And YOUR hair is Gorg my dear.

Wow, your hair looks fantastic! I love how true the color is too! I don't think your hair could have looked better, even if you went to a colorist. Nice job! :)
 
Ur hair is beautiful! My favorite color is purple and I have purple highlights by the way of extensions though. I would love to try this on my natural hair. U r rockin' it : )
 
That purple is so fairytalebubblegummylicious! I love it. And in the curly picture is looks so elegant and it blends so well with the black hair... simply hypnotizing.

OMG you ladies are making me want to bleach my hair. I was thinking about it back in Jan, and stopped, now i really want to do it again:nono: I've been wanting to dye it BLACK & Half- purple & a little pink, purple & blue, or blue, turquoise & a little purple..:drunk:

The last time i bleached my hair, my hair didnt like me or the bleach:look:..then again i did not take care of my hair, it was relaxed straight, I also bleach & dyed it the same day, and a week later dyed it again with permanent color:ohwell:

Sooooo that didnt really help the situation either..

I love it. I wish I had a job where I could do something like that. I thought about doing something like that and just rocking a wig to work.
