My new purple hair!

I've been a lurker for quite awhile and subscribed because of all the awesomeness that is LHCF. After growing my relaxed hair long, and then transitiong to natural...I can safely say that I've gleaned a ton of information about how to properly care for the diva that resides on top of my head. After being natural a little over a year, I decided I could have some fun. Just wanted to share! Sprry about the humungo pics, not sure how to resize yet. Stll learning!

Thanks! I sectioned off a good part of my front and used 30v developer along with 2 packets of BLue toned bleach. The color is Ultra Violet by Manic Panic. I did a Two-Step Protein Treatment before I bleached and a vinegar rinse to seal in the color.

oh my gosh, that is so fly! that color is bangin, chica. i would LOVE to do something like this; been wanting red for a while, but i just don't think it will fit with my corporate gig and my clients. i need to start looking for a profession that will allow me to express myself more freely. i change my hair style ALL the time, but i would love some eye popping color. good going girl!

OMG I LOVE IT SO MUCH!!!

I tried to do this on NYE, but just put a purple rinse over the red parts of my hair. It was a darker purple than yours but it turned out really dark on my hair it just looked black. lol.

I will try it again though.
