I like to change up my oil and body butter mix every so often so see what my hair likes. (and because it's fun)
I ordered a bunch of products from Halal Everyday (ebay) at mixed the following:
Cocoa & Mango Butter Mix
Palm Oil
Avocado Oil
(equal mixture of all)
I heated it up in a pan turned it off quickly, so that it wouldn't overheat and would simply melt. I kept it at room temperature and added it to my hair as I was doing it in tiny twists. I will say that your hair will have a grey residue initially, but it goes away.
I took the twist out this morning, and it came out cute, and not quite as oily as when I use Castor Oil for my braid/twist outs. Since my hair is still only a few inches, twists outs don't usually work for me, as they usually come out very puffy looking, I usually go with braid outs, as I find twist outs easier on the hair, the combination of the above and small twist created a really cute hairstyle.
