My nape and sides are reverting

I am now long transitioning, but I am amazed at what's going on with my hair. I've only been fully relaxed for 2 weeks and my nape and sides are reverting back to looking texlaxed. It will probably go back to being curly withiin 2 more weeks. This never happened to me as a child. My hair could hold relaxers for at leat 2 months before needing a touch up. Since starting Surge and MTG my hair holds no relaxer for long. The last 6" of my nape and the first 2" of my sides are basically texturized looking now.

Might be just growing. What's that? 1/4 of an inch. That's enough to make some waves.
