I give up. No matter what shampoo i use how many supplements, oils, etc. I cant get rid of this seborrheic dermatitis. Im tired of this damn afro and if i cut my hair ima have dandruff everyday. I give up!
is your "dandruff" white because if it is you need to cut the shampoo
my scalp was like before
try not using shampoo and just rinse /and conditioner wash for about 1 to 2 weeks
I definitely second the nizoral.I had a real dandruff problem too but after 2 weeks of using nizoral twice a week it is gone completely.
I applied it to my scalp only just like if you are applying grease or whatever to your scalp(except on wet hair) and I washed out in 10 mins. And I washed my hair only after with CON since that helped me detangle all those tangles I got from having to manipulate my wet hair so much.

YuNg, please don't give up. AFashionSlave had seborrhic dermatitis and she doesn't anymore. NYCChild had recurrent dandruff and she doesn't any more. They used different methods but solved their problems. They may identify with the despair you feel so why not PM them and find out what kept them going so they stuck to it. Who showed them what to do? What had they tried before they finally struck the right remedy?
Katie and Labett, I think YuNg mentioned before that he was already using Nizarol and it wasn't helping.
YuNg, I ask this question out of total ignorance, but does your scalp itch when it gets warm? If so, I did wonder if trimming your hair while you try to find a solution for your scalp might help reduce the discomfort. (Remember solving one thing at a time?) Hun, get another doctor's point of view/plan of treatment as others have suggested. Maybe even a doctor who practises orthodox medicine but believes in alternative medicine so you can tackle it from a different angle. Perhaps 1-800-Doctors can recommend such a doctor?
Don't give up yet, I would reccomend Jojoba oil you can just rub it in your scalp and wait then wash out or rub in and do a hot oil treatment with it. It really haelps clear up dandruff.
