My hear is breaking

After I set my hair and comb out the curls it starts to break off in bits an pieces the sink is usually full! do I need a reconstructor or protein treatment. What is a good setting lotion, and how often should i wash my hair because it looses moisture fast!!

rough/dry - use a moisturizing Deep Conditioner and daily moisturizer

fragile/weak - use a protein conditioner
