My hair\'s so soft,like a buttamilk biscuit!!

Last night, I washed my hair and I poured an ACV rinse on my hair, shampooed, then conditioned. After all of this,I proceeded to phat twist my hair and I used my homeade rosemary spray on my scalp and hair. I moisturized my hair with Palmers shea butter and Fruit of the earth aloe vera gel. Doesn't sound like anything spectacular but let me tell ya. When I usually wake up,my twists look dry and dingy. This morning however,my twists looked shiny and vibrant-on top of that my hair is SOOOO soft!! Could it be the ACV rinse? Could it be the rosemary? Could it be a combination of the two?

That's great! I bet it was the ACV followed by the shampooing instead of just the final rinse..I'll have to try that the next time I shampoo.

Cool Beans! I still haven't gotten around to trying an ACV rinse. What is it exactly?

Apple Cider Vinegar dilluted with water. I use 1/4 cup to a gallon of water. You have to experiment to find the mix that works for you. Too much ACV can leave your hair hard. I normally do it after I shampoo, before my conditioner. But I will try before I shampoo the next time.

Thanks! I think I still have some in the kitchen. I'll give it a shot. Should I make it as I go OR could I make some and store it in the fridge for a couple of days?

Hey Patience, my skinny weight loss person!

i use regular ol' vinegar dilute and get the same result. I mix about 3 ounces of vinegar to a bucket of water (maybe 1 or 2 quart) and throw it on my hair to clarify. The long term result of using this mixture has eliminated my dandruff problem (PTL) and I am left with clean hair that is ready for deep conditioning

Hmm...I've been using the ACV rinse after I wash and condition. I'll have to try it before I deep condition. It does seem like I would get better results.

Give it a try,Patience. You won't be sorry. Ladies,I need to know, is it okay to do the ACV rinse every time you wash your hair or should it be reserved just for clarifying?

I use mine when I want clarifying...because I don't like or use clarifying shampoos.
