My hair hates it....

I always thought it hated silicones but I decided just to try one more thing before I really made my judgement. I washed my hair with the green Creme of Nature and then used my little sample of Loreal Unfrizz that Daviine so sweetly

let me have after the NYC lunch. Soon as it went on my hair felt rough. I left it on for the 2 minutes as reccomended thinking it would soften up but no luck. My hair felt like it had hundreds of split ends that I could feel. I had to fight a bit to comb through it. I decided to use a bit of the Moisturfuse. That softened my hair a bit, give me some slip and let me comb through. That saved my hair (and patience). Unfrizz isn't for me and neither is cones

(hence why S&S didn't work for me either). Only to find products without cones since it seems that it's in everything nowadays...

I was just about to use the Unfrizz. I came on to see if I could figure out how long everyone else was leaving it on for.

maybe I'll give the S&S a second chance tonight.

Thanks for the kiss. Right back atcha =

I'm sorry the Unfrizz didn't work on you. Its so wierd why certain things like cones work on one and not the other. Whats wierd for me is that my hair can't stand Pantene Smooth and Sleek which has cones, but other stuff I like.

Def. stick to what you know your hair loves

Is the Loreal unfrizz a conditioner? I like cones in a serum form, like John Frieda's Frizz ease and Nick Chavez anti-frizz serum. Those products must be used on soaking wet hair and not washed out.

I typically leave it in my hair for 5-15 minutes without heat. I've used it with heat and for up to an hour. For me, there's no significant difference when I add heat or leave it in for a long time, so I just use it as my in-the-shower conditioner.

Yeah but my hair's so fickle. One day it'll love something, the next hate it (never the other way around though). Since I had quite a bit left in the baggie, I gave it to my boyfriend (he secretly likes my products but shhhhhh....don't tell noooooobody! lol) who loved it. I will stop by Cecelia's and get some Moisturfuse when I get my touch-up.

I leave mine on from 10mins-1 hr, depending on the service before it. If i do protein (elasta BCS, or nexxus) i'll leave it on for like 10 or 20 mins... cuz i'll be tired of doing my hair by then

If i use it after my c/o wash i'll leave it on for 20 mins or so for up to an hour HTH

Jazzy, try adding a touch of extra virgin o oil to the moisturefuse sometimes, it'll give added 'slip' too I've found and just makes it an even better conditioner than it is alone

Its weird though what one person likes another doesn't. I didn't like Tropical Avocado which I hunted down and so many hear LOVE it. I'm waiting to hear now if free2beme and NYchild who both got it at the NY meet, like it.
