maybe an angel enhanced the rain with conditioner, just for you.

j/k...i dont know. thats a good question. I'm too scared to get my hair rained on so that hasnt happened to me.

Same here...but mine was full of moisturizer and oil so I think the water just I dunno, reactivated it or something.

I've heard somewhere that rainwater is good for your hair. I don't know why, though. Must be something in it...

Really? I guess when I thought of rainwater and hair, I always thought of that episode of Different Strokes where Kimberly's hair was turned green by rainwater!

It's because since we have that ACID rain going on here in DFW, all the chemicals in the rain water probably gave you a slight relaxer!!!!:lachen:You know I'm right too about our Acid rain and hard water...doubt me? I DARE YOU to go drink a glass of TAP WATER!!!! :lachen: Seriously though, I ran from the rain 'cause it was so COLD last night! Girl it's COLD today!!!! The slight layer of ice on everything kinda gives the illusion of snow (though it did snow this am; did you get any?)

.

When I was a kid there was a lady that would put a bucket out to catch the rain water she would water all of her plants and wash all of her childrens hair with it. My guess would be that it has minerals in it. But someone said that the rain water today would contain pollutants.

Yes, I'm in my classroom right now and I can see the snow outside our window.

By the way, you look extremely familiar. I think I know you--for real!

And boy, it feels really good and soft today. Why?
It could be because rain is ionized with negative ions - very good for our hair and health.:)

I was thinking the same thing too, kbragg... I live in Carrollton, so I may have seen you out & about.

It is indeed cold & it's that cold that sticks to you. I was raised up north, but Texas cold seeps into your skin and stays there!

As soon as I saw the subject I thought "she must live in Texas." My county was under a torado watch for most of last night. It rained cats and dogs.

When I was relaxed, I used to fear the rain, but now I love it because it doesn't ruin my hair. The weather is strange today. It's 70* in Long Island. I think the weather pattern is ruined.

is it due to the water being slightly acidic? and is not loaded with calcium and mineral deposits like pipe water.
