I found this pic in my husbands phone. It shows my hair 3 years ago. It's hard to believe that my hair has grown so much. It would probably be longer if I had started taking good care of it long ago. I only started caring for it in Febuary.
^^^I didn't even notice there was another picture to the right. Don't worry about it. Your progress looks good. I started where you were at and I am very close to BSL. Isn't it exciting to see your process when you look at your old photos.
It is exciting. I feel like I am finally doing something right. I'm inching to my goal of M/B. I don't want it any longer than that cause I probably wouldn't commit to keeping it up. This is the longest it's been since I took over from what my mom was doing. She had me at waist length and you know I cut it off to a bob as soon as I turned 18. lol.
Thanks ladies. You should have seen my hair before I started taking care of it in Febuary. A dry hot mess. I was just browsing the web one day and a picture came up of this beautiful black woman with long near waist length hair and me knowing nothing about hair automaticly assumed it was a weave so I clicked to see. That all lead me here to were I see so many beautiful heads of natural and relaxed short and long hair. As for my husband he thinks I'm crazy, lol. He said he doesn't care if it's long or short although he is encouraging me NOT to grow it longer. He said it's just going to look the same only be longer and I was like . I always ask him can he see the differences in it when I use new products. He never does. Then out of the blue one day he says Ohh I don't know what your using on your hair, but it's working and I was like .
I'm so glad that I found this picture. Hard as it is to believe after a while I can't tell if my hair has grown or not. It always seems to be at the same length to me, but this picture proved to me that my hair really has grown.
