Your hair is so beau-tie-full. Your my hair goal. I reached APL and beyond but then started trimming with the wrong scissors. I now have the right scissors and now almost APL.

Regimen: KISS- out of sheer laziness. I wear a bun 90% of the time, and wash/dc/protein treatments as needed.

I self trim now, last salon trim was in mid 2008. That took me from APL to somewhere b/t SL and APL. so since then I'm good on salon trimming. I need a trim now, but not pressed at all.

I'm BSL-ish. and goal for 2010 is MBL/WL-ish. The less I 'fuss' over my hair the better it does.

Thanks! I flat iron using an FHI platform. Didn't go bone straight this time (you can see my roots aren't that smooth). But I love this one, b/c when I do go bone straight- it handles the job very well, closely mimicking a relaxer.

I wash/condition then blow dry in sections. Then I go over it with a flat iron (FHI). My hair is almost always in it's 'natural' state. I straighten 3x a year max- last year I straightened 2x, once to self trim, and once to check progress.

I prefer big, fluffy curly fros- so I wear those if/when I get tired of bunning.

I didn't use one for this progress update, but I do have two. One is a fuchsia/pink sleeveless tank, the other a navy blue l/s shirt. I got them both from southern tease's site (i think).

This time I did.

But if I'm going for a silkier, swangier (lol) flat iron, I will use the "roundbrush" method- but instead of using an actual roundbrush, I'll use my denman. Very very silky results doing that.
