I was just reading some search results about GPB, getting all excited for when it would come (it was supposedly coming tomorrow but it came early) and the doorbell rang and I just KNEW it was my package. I'm so excited!! I have a stupid dentist appointment in 20 minutes so I have to wait till I get back to wash my hair. I'll let you know how it turns out.

yippeeeeeeee!

Ok, I've used it. Drumrolll please...........

WOW!! My hair is soooooo soft! Actually I also used Suave humecto for the first time today too so maybe it's that, or the combination of both. I didn't even use my normal aphogee leave-in today because my hair just felt so moisturized. It's soooo smooth. My silly bun actually looks cute because my hair is so shiny (might be the coconut oil I put in it though). I'm sold. By the way they were having a sale at this grocery store Gerbes that I go to (It's also called Dillons in a lot of places) and all the suave and vo5 was on sale. The suave stuff was on sale 3 for $4 and the vo5 was $.99. I had to restrain myself though and just got the humectant and some vo5 blushing apples (mmmmmmm). Oh and I got a sample of that St. Ives intensive conditioner. I'll try that out next week. I almost had a heart attack in that hair care aisle. So many conditioners! Let the PJism begin!

I'm gonna try it again next week without using the humectant afterwards. I think I may have over conditioned a bit

I was just being careful because it was my first protein conditioner. I can tell it's time for a trim too cuz my hair is all silky and smooth until you hit the last 3/4 inch of my hair where it feels fuzzy. I guess that'll make it easier to trim!

BlackCardinal,

I am so glad you enjoyed the GPB. It's a great product!

I was LOL when I read your comment about nearly having a heart attack in the hair care aisle.

Gee, I really need to try this GPB.

Now about this "Suave Humectant"... is it good enough to use alone after shampooing?

I can't say for sure yet because it was the first time I used it, but judging from how it felt in my hair while I was in the shower and after it dried, I'd say it would be great after a shampoo because it's so moisturizing. Like I said, i didn't even use my normal leave-in and my hair feels nicer than it usually does. Within the next couple weeks I'll be trying just the GPB after a shampoo, and just the humectant after a shampoo to see if it was a particular one of these that worked especially well, or if the combination is what did it.

Suave Humectant

I tried the Suave Humectant once as an instant conditioner (left on for about 5 minutes) after washing with diluted L'anza PP shampoo and I really liked it. My hair had so much body.

I want to try it again as an instant conditioner and then again as a deep conditioner. I want to try deep conditioning with the Suave Humectant and a capful of jojoba or some other oil. I plan on trying it at the end of this month so I'll try to remember to keep you posted.

Let me know if you try it and if you like it or not.
