First welcome to the board and be encouraged. I was in your place three years ago and my hair has turn around completely. I agree with some of the ladies I wouldn't get the micros with your hair being in such a fragile state now. The best thing to do now is the baggie, bun or pencil size braids. HTH

Oh my god you've just depressed me my hair was ten times more damaged when i was starting out I'm way too ashamed to even post a picture, its doing much better now though, with time and consistency it'll pay off

I would stay away from the micros as well. Just a warning... that picture that I was afraid to post is the one I took after removing micros. My edges are essentially gone, and I had two inches trimmed off about 2 hours ago as a result. I am now back at square one.

As other ladies have suggested, try fatter singles or corn rows.

I acheived the most growth by doing the baggie method with a fake bun.
