i'm so upset i have to braid up my hair again this upcoming friday, i love my new hair soo so so much

i literally cannot keep my hands out of it, and my friends and family have been so supportive, with the exception of a few

after BCing last night, i twisted it wet so it could air dry, and today i took it out for my first ever TWIST-OUT !

it may not be the best, but i love it nonetheless :yep: :drunk:

lol i've been completely natural for A DAY AND A FEW HOURS

i just cut off all of my relaxer yesterday, but i transitioned for 14 months

Wow, you have some great growth. Congrats on your BC. Depending on my growth, I may BC in May on my one year anniversary. What styles did you wear while transitioning?

i've worn braid extensions for most of this winter, berets, buns, twist-outs/braid-outs (with small perm rods at the bottom to curl the straight ends), and flexi-rod sets

Congratulations. You and your hair are too cute. I love how happy and excited you look in your newly natural pics. :)

Your hair looks very nice. I know many of us want really long hair, but the length your hair is right now is the best twist out length, IMO. Great job!

You and your hair are super cute. But If I were you I'd cancel that braid appointment and spend time rocking that gorgeous hair. Retention is important, but so is getting to know the hair you waited 14 months to meet. Sometimes, you just gotta enjoy :)

sooo true! i'm really thinking about prolonging the braids

You look so happy in those pictures of your twist out. Girl, you couldn't tell me nothing if I had that twist out...lol :) Whatever you decide, be really proud of your healthy hair!
