thank you so much all you Divas!

I'll tell you I used a permanent color light/ or medium golden blond by nutrisse (sp?) supposed to be more gentle on your hair because it doesn't contain so and so and it has a tube of fruit (i think) oil to mix & avocado condish. I have to use a light color b/c my natural hair is B-L-AK! I shampoo with porosity control & CRN (unfortunately i didn't wait 24 hrs to poo) and used the pc condish for a minute and rinsed. I dc'd with Keracare Humecto under my steamer for about 40-45 mins. put CRN leave in infusium, coconut oil and covered with a t-shirt, & went to bed.

Initially i was planning on wearing it curly so I really didn't do anything in preparation to flat iron. when i woke up i had a super fro, (and i'm thinking that's why it took me so long because it was a bush i tell you- a bush!) but on a whim i decided to flat iron. i lightly sprayed with john freida's heat protectant and went to work with my SOLIA- luv that thang! and this was the result. HTH!

@: locabout hair- no blow dry just went to bed with my hair sticking up and threw on a tee

@: nichi- it was garnier nutrisse in light or med golden blonde- i'll see if it's still in the trash & let you know for sure

What temperature did you use on your flat iron?

beautiful eyes and very nice flat iron job, let me ask, what did you use to color?

I've tried to color my hair jet black, but it's not coming out how i'd like it, so I'm thinking I should go lighter. Did you use permanent color?

i just checked and actually it was DARK GOLDEN BLONDE #73 by nutrisse & thank you so much:yep:

i used it on 380. just be sure to use a good heat protectant and don't be scurred! i have to use a good amount of heat or my hair will revert even when it was relaxed. using high enough heat is just as important as not using enough. we don't want all that hard work & heat in our hair to go to waste. i've found that if i do it right & use enough heat, i will have better results and will last longer- same as when i was relaxed.:yep:

and thanks for pointing to the thread! :) there's also more in my profile album. i'm suddenly going pic craz-eeee!
