My DH said "it's cute I like it, but you know i like your real hair better"
I said well I am doing this to protect my real hair.
he said Oh great then I really like it:yep:

I love it! What kind of hair is that?
freetress Bulk Deep Twist
4 / 30 hair color
It's 22 inches long but I cut it in half I only needed one pack

Very cute! I like it. Did you straighten or stretch before cornrowing, your cornrows look perfect or maybe it's your hairline.

Can you explain how you did this? When I think of crochet braids, I think of something very shiny and ghetto because that is all I have ever seen. Your braids look so awesome! Please tell me how you did that? Thanks in advance! Oh and how is the hair holding up?

How long do you plan to keep them in?

Sorry for the questions. Thanks again!

I blowdryed my hair after a Dc. I added extra hair to each cornrow braid to make my cornrows stonger.

I plan on keeping them for 8 -12 weeks
it depends on how well the fake hair holds up
minimum 8 weeks
I just put them in today so, so far my hair is good.
and my head is not sore:yep:

I used FreeTress Water Wave Hair for both of us.

man, i have the water wave in right now and bought some more the other day...i really wanted to get deep twist, but the only girl on YT i could find with it installed had some crazy color, so i couldn't get a good feeling of how it would look on me...

judging from your pics, i shoulda got it! that looks really good, girl!!!

I don't blame you, I can't get with wild colors either.
this color is lighter than what I usually do. I am still getting use to it.
I like 1b/33 hair but they didn't have it.

all those crochet braids are making me want some :yep: they look great!!

I have a question tho..ive seen the tutorial on how you put them in... and I see that you need to tie several knots... so how do you put them out without tangles?

umm I personally haven't gotten that far yet.
but according to all the YT videos I watch on taking them down
you just have to unreveal the cornrows and the hair will come out:yep:

Looks great. I looked at some of the videos and it is something that I will definetly do again. I had such a bad experience with crochet braids many years ago that I swore them off for all eternity. I will be doing these for my next protective style. And only 4-5 hours to install...not bad.
