Hair Coach
So it's Mother's day weekend and I decided to treat myself to a salon visit. I went to Lilly's Hair Plus on Jimmy Carter BLVD. When I first went in you could see all the hair dryer smoke and the smell of smokin' hair. I looked around and saw nothing but cute little Spanish ladies doing their thang. OMG, I have never seen so many heads of beautiful hair in one place. Almost every lady in there had shoulder length hair or longer with the average length being close to brastrap. It was one lady there that had even waistlength hair and it was absoutely stunning. I was in awe. She may have been a LHCF sistah. I signed in and told Lilly I didn't have a preference so I was able to get my hair washed immediately.
I sat a the shampoo bowl and she washed my hair 3 times with Tresemme shampoo. It smelled so good. I may have to try that in the future. She proceeded to add some sort of Motions reconstructor conditioner on my hair and combed through. She let it sit for about a minute and rinsed out. When I sat in the chair she used Salerm 21 leave in on my hair. She began to rollerset my hair and parted it in fairly large sections. I think she may have used about 16 rollers.
I sat under the dryer for about 45 minutes. A little piece of my hair came out of one of the rollers and I felt it and it was so soft. I was amazed because I had never used the Salerm with heat. I always air dry.
She took out the rollers and my hair just fell to my shoulders I was amazed at how soft it was. I couldn't stop touching it. Wow, it was so soft! She blowdryed my hair in sections. Boy that heat, I don't think I could ever get used that heat. She had to use a curling iron on my hair to get the flip the flip to do right, what she really needed was a litle oil. Flips don't do well on my hair unless oil is used. My hair turned out really cute. I left the salon swinging. I heard one of the ladies waiting say that my style was pretty. I was feeling real good especially since my bill was $25.00 plus a $3 tip. Maria did my hair. she did a good job but not a great job. I was very pleased but next time I will try one of the recommended people. I think I may go back in a couple of weeks. Yes, yes, yes I am in love with the Dominican blowout.
