Great job for the first attempt! I agree with the other ladies, looks very natural and the color looks nice on you!

You did a great job! I love it. :) I really want to try this style with hair that resembles my natural hair.

Thanks and for the record I am completely natural (mostly 4a with some 3c). Although I like this style and texture next time I want to try the water wave by Freetress because based on the videos, posts and pictures I've seen it most resembles natural hair.

Looks great! I'm so jealous, if only I knew how to braid I could save myself plenty of $$.

Wait - where were you ladies when we were playing with our Barbie head dolls (back in da day)? That's how I learned (self taught) then moved on to braiding my brother's hair. I bet you could learn if you practiced on your self or someone else. Truthfully though - I would not wear my cornrows out in public, my parts are never straight :nono:.

You did a great job! How long did it take?
It looks really natural, like a bantu knot out.

Ur right it kinda resembles a bantu knot out (on relaxed hair). Unfortunately I can't tell you how long it took because I went from about 7:30pm - 4am on Friday then got up the next morning to finish 1.5 rows. On Friday I had a visitor stop by, I watched tv, took breaks to eat popcorn. On Sat morn though it took about 30 mins to do 1.5 rows and I was packing them in and I didn't separate the strips (too time consuming and too messy = too much trouble).
