Ok after hours of thinking, I will get it done. I talked to my mom and she was against it.. so was my brother. Its all about MY choice but I was looking for more support. I'm going to the salon today at 3 to get it cut. I can NOT believe a person that said "I'll never cut my hair" is gonna do it.

I will be back later with photos.

ETA: I transitioned for 6 months.

I feel you...i feel you...sometimes all it takes is like one thing to go'on and push you over the edge...i'm guessing talking 'bout it yesterday out loud after you had already been thinking 'bout it did it for ya! Good luck! I know it's gonna be fab!

You're doing what makes YOU happy, that's all that matters.:look: I can't want to see your new style. Are you taking "before and after" comparision shots?

I really think you'll be happy with your decision. This transitioning thing can be a bit of a nightmare at times. And as you know, it will grow back and hopefully be easier to handle at the same time. Those relaxed ends had to go at some point, right?
Good luck and enjoy the next stage in your hair care journey! Congratulations on transitioning for so long too.
Can't wait to see the pictures. :grin:

i commend you for even transitioning that long. i transitioned for about 5 months and that was a pain! so i said f this!!! and i cut, never looked back and ive never been happier about the state of my hair.

Whose going to be my transition buddy now? But congrats!! I've been thinking about doing the chop myself. I can't wait to see the pics
 
Thanks ladies im back. Im waiting for my hair to dry. My hair looks um..:perplexed

so im waiting for it to dry so it can curl up more.

The tips are still wet. I keep shaking my head but trying NOT to get a concussion lol. I think she left a little relaxed ends on.

I can already see I have like 2 different hair TYPES .

It took a while for my curls to come in fully after I BC'd years ago (maybe like a week or so)...it's like my hair was trained to be straight or something. It was kinda weird like I put some spiky gel in my hair or smoething...Your hair will get it's own mind soon enuf, tho!:grin: Congrats again!!!

That was my NEXT question. My hair looks like a curly wavy spiked up mess.
