Hey. Here are a few pictures of my bc. Ive been transitioning 2 years and cut the relaxed ends off on Saturday. I have a patch of really course hair that waves and won't curl no matter what...not sure if it's heat damage because all the other hair reverts with a quickness...I call this my WACK PATCH. Just wish it didnt ruin a perfectly good pony. Anyway...pics!!

congrats on you BC and I have the same "wack patch" ; however, it's the entire front/left side of my head :ohwell:

It just sucks to have something you cannot do anything about! Then I was researching it and what I can do to nurse it or whatever...and um...yeah that's just the texture of THAT area on my head! Ugh! I rather it be CURLIER than the rest and not straighter...oh well...I will get creative with my ponies in order to cover it...:yep:

You can just try twistouts and doing a puff to disguise it :) Looks beautiful anyhow. You can make a good size bun already! :yep:

Congrats on your BC!! Your hair is soo pretty. I must be your hair twin because I have a similar patch in the middle with a weird curl pattern. It smoothed out when my hair grew longer.

I hear you becaus eit does look rather silly when trying to do a wash-no-go. Usually I don't do them, but if I do a wash-n-go I usually pin that side up some way or just do a puff/side puff. Other than that I'm a twist/braid out girl.

it's gaaahgeous, daaahling!!

seriously! great growth and retention!! wonderful pony, whack patch and all!! and ftr, the patch is NOT whack.

I have a dry, frizzy, wavy patch in the front the doesn't blend in with my hair so I understand what you mean.

Congrats on your BC!! Your hair is beautiful.

I have the same patch at the crown of my hair. I haven't used heat in 9 years so its not from that. LOL

Congrats on the BC - I cant wait to see more hair photos from you in the future!

I've seen wacker patches than that...

LOL.

Your hair looks very pretty. Hope we get to see some loose curly pics too. :)

I'm a newbie...pretty much have been a lurker and just subscribed the other day. I have to say your hair is gorgeous. Sigh I'm actually trying to go natural but havent BC'd. I think I'm going to grow out my natural hair for a few years before I do a BC. But any who you look great girly and keep up the good work.

Congratulations on your BC! I did not see the patch, however you are definitely not alone. Most of us have more than one texture that we attempt to blend. Your hair is beautiful!!! Thanks for sharing. :)
