SSOOOO I had the brilliant idea of having my mom on skype guiding me on how to do my relaxer because she usually does them for me when I go home. However I won't be going home anytime soon. I'm hoping this will help in my first self relaxer process =) I did a 9 or 10 wk stretch and it's about time!

Just thought I'd share.

You must have a really good camera! How nice to have your mom guiding you.

Much success to you!

Another good tip (I got this from Macherie amour) is to practice by putting deep conditioner on your hair like a relaxer that way if you mess up, it wouldn't really matter anyway.

Since this is your first time self relaxing, please put hair grease, vasoline, conditioner, or oil over your already processed hair. This will protect your hair from overlapping or overprocessing your hair. I always do this when I relax my hair and I only relax my hair every 6-8 months. Hopefully everything goes great.
