My 1 mo. Comparison

Hey Ladies! I have received so many pm's regarding my siggy so I thought I would just do a post regarding it:grin: Some have asked me if the dates are correct and they are. I am just as surprised as everyone who has noticed.

The only thing that I have done differently to my hair is my regimen. I devised a regimen that I call "what works". It is everything that has proven to benefit the hair.(It was supposed to be a 3 mo. trial regimen, but I think it's a keeper) It is all documented in my fotki, but here is a breakdown of it.
-Wash 1x weekly & deep con
-Co-wash weekly w/ VO5 Moisture Milks Blueberries and Cream
-Protective Style daily
-Moisturize 2x daily
-Low Manipulation
-Take Vitamins daily
-Use a scalp stimulant 2x weekly
-Use MTG 5x week
-I drink a 50mg protein shake 1x day sometimes 2x( I think this really helped b/c when I examined my diet I noticed that I wasn't getting the adequate amount of protein my body needed)
-I drink a cup of carrot juice mixed with 2 tbsp of Amino fuel nightly
-and baggie ends/sometimes whole head nightly

For a more in depth review of my regimen you can check out my fotki. Thanks ladies for all the compliments!

Congrats on your growth girl!

Awesome growth! Keep up that WW regimen, by the end of the year you'll be mid-back! Thanks for sharing with us too.

Thanks for sharing! I was wondering where you got all that growth  !

Congrats on staying so dedicated! I really need to get my game up...I can't even remember to take my vitamins :perplexed.

You are makin' moves chica. You will be at APL in no time at the rate that you are growing. Happy to share in the joy of your progress.

YOUR HAIR IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!!;)

Question: Did taking Whey and the Amino Fuel along with NAC making you gain weight? I find that Amino Acids and NAC are making my thighs and butt bigger, which I don't want. Just curious.

Congratulations! And keep growing!!! ;)

Wow girl, this awesome!!!! What amazing progress!!!! Your regimen is very simple!!! Your progress proves that what we put into our bodies aids a lot in how healthy our hair is and how it grows!!! Congratulations!

Great growth girl!

<taking notes...>

Definitely gotta up my game when it comes to protein. I have also noticed that moisturizing my hair (mainly my ends) twice a week has helped me retain much more length.

Congrats lady, and keep doing what you're doing!

Thanks Ladies! I really do appreciate all the love. All of you have beautiful hair. To my neck length and shorter ladies you can do it, just stay focused! My hair has never been this length in my life;)

Serenity_ Peace I haven't gained any weight at all. Actually I lost 5 lbs:grin:
The reason being is that my daily protein intake was very insufficient. I think when adding protein to your diet you should only take what your missing. Protein is a dietary supplement just like vitamins.

How to Calculate Your Protein Needs:

1. Weight in pounds divided by 2.2 = weight in kg
2. Weight in kg x 0.8-1.8 gm/kg = protein gm

OMG!
Now that really works!

I know I don't get enough protein, but they don't do vegetarian protein shakes...

What do you mean by a scalp stimulant?
