MTG how long b4 you see the difference?

I'm in braids now. This is week 3 and it's killing me. I miss styling my hair, but it really needed a break from the product overdose. Anyway my question is how long did it take for you to notice a difference with the use of shapley's mtg? And what's your regimen with mtg?

I'm mixing this with lavender essential oil and not washing out. I've been adding it a little every 2-3 days. I still hate the smell, but it's less noticeable with the lavender mixture. Do I see a difference? -not yet

I would say within 2 to 3 weeks I noticed new growth and a softer texture of NG at that (<- could be more r/t the MSM I take). I'm taking a break from MTG cuz it caused irritation on my ears and neck.

ETA: I never mixed it w/EO's. I always applied it straight w/an applicator bottle.

I measured my hair before I started using MTG and did the same after using it 30 days later. I found that I got an extra 1/2 inch of growth.

I'm transitioning and I have a ton of shrinkage, so I honestly never 'notice' the growth until I pull out the measuring tape.

i didnt think i saw any growth but i got 3in from oct to feb and i only usually get 4in a year could it be the mtg or the vitamins not sure i havent done either consistantly

JCoily, how much newgrowth do you normally get in a month?

Without using anything I get 1/4 inch per month.

Add 5,000 mcg Biotin and I get 1/2 inch per month - I'm religious about taking those pills so this is pretty much my norm.

Add MTG twice a week and I get between 3/4 and 1 inch. (see my oct-nov fotki) for before and after. I cut down my MTG use to once every 2 weeks, because the smell + burnt neck was getting to me and I need a break between uses.

my hair grows on average about a 1/2 inch per month no matter what regimen i follow. J coily is it an extra 1/2 ?

using MTG on my scalp twice a week over 4 weeks gave me an extra 1/4- 1/2 inch on top of my normal 1/2 inch per month. For whatever reason, my left side grew more than my right side.
