MSM!!!!!!!!!

Hi ladies,

I new to LHCF and as I've been reading the posts here, I see that MSM powder is mentioned alot. I see it mentioned alot in the hair tips forums and in the skin care forums. I would just like to know what are the benefits of it for the hair and skin. If I'm not mistaken, it's supposed to aid in clearing up skin and helping hair grow. Please Advise!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is probably this largest thread on MSM. Lost of ladies have posted rave reviews. I've been using it and it has really cleared up my skin, not sure what it's done for my hair though.....

fyi, GNC MSM does not pass the float test. The MSM sat on the top of the water and then formed a strange like coating over the water. I had to throw away a whole bottom of the stuff.

Nope I made the mistake of telling her I purchased it about two month ago and I did not keep the receipt, she stated that GNC have a 30 day return policy. So from now on right after I purchase ANY vitamins I will perform some type of test to determine purity or absorbtion and if they fails I will promptly return the items. I am currently using TriMedica the MSM powder from Vitamin Shoppe and it passed the test and now I am waiting to see how long before I start to see benefits at 4mg per day.
