Is there any difference between the capsules or the powder, that is, is one better for hair? And what dosage offers the best results. Thanks in advance.
 
I heard that the powder absorbs in the body faster, and I bought some powder a month ago. I took it for two weeks (the directions said 1/2 tsp. 2x a day), and I couldn't do it anymore. It is so bitter, I almost gag everytime I take it. I tried mixing it with OJ and cranberry juice, and it just makes me sick to my stomach. Maybe it's just me, but I don't know how anyone do the powder. I think, though, I will give the capsules a try, they must offer some benefits, because I know there are ladies on this site that give good reviews about it. I just can't stand to take something daily that makes me so nauseous.
 
I use the powder. I remember reading it is more easily absorbed into the body. I take 1/2 teaspon and place it in the middle of my tongue. I than you use water to swallow it. It is soooo bitter. But, I don't care.
 
I use the powder. I take 1/2 tsp every morning. I mix it with 9-10 oz. water. It's bitter, but I prefer to use water so that I can see when it's dissolved.

If I mix it with 8 oz. orange juice I can't taste the powder at all.
 
I add 1/2 tsp of solgar msm powder to my 16 oz bottled water and never taste the msm. I also add/mix 1/2 pack of KAL stevia extract and 1/2 tsp of santa cruz organic lemon juice or lime juice to my bottled water/msm when I have a taste for a sweet beverage. :lick: You never taste the msm and you get the benefits of the msm since vitamin c is suppose to enhance the msm.:yep: HTH
 
I also do a 1/2 tsp of powder daily. Lately I've been putting it in my bottled water and it's really not all that bitter to me. I do let it sit for a while so that it's dissovled. And I guess I try to turn my taste buds off by not breathing in while I drink it! But if I put it in my OJ I can't taste it at all...
