MSM cream

i was in vitamin world this weekend and i saw a jar of msm cream. has anyone ever used this on their hair? what about their skin? what are the benefits? i would ideally like to put it in my mix of surge, castor oil, WGO, nexxus botanic oil, and nexxus biotin creme.

i've heard of someone doing this before. I brought a jar from vitamin world and used it once, but it left a white residue on my scalp. It didn't quite melt in like I expected it to.

I have some MSM lotion that I throw on during my prepoo every once in awhile but I wasn't sure about all the ingredients.
