i really like the nourish in leave in conditioner and the motions moisture plus. i also use the lavish conditioning shampoo and cpr shampoo and conditioner...
My favourite ones are Motions moisture plus, leaves my hair really soft, shiny and moisturised and CPR treatment conditioner, which strengthened my hair tremedously when I had terrible breakage after overusing ORS Carrot oil and steaming my hair with a plastic cap, too often.
I have the Motions Moisture Plus conditioner; I like it better when it's used with heat. I used it this weekend, w/o heat, just leaving it in for about 10 mins. and it left my hair feeling weird after rinsing it out. It felt rough, but slippery... I ended up using another conditioner afterwards cuz it felt like my hair would be hard to comb out if I didn't.
. Leaves my hair very soft, moisturized, full of body/volume... just a very nice (inexpensive) conditioner.
Nourishing Leave In
Is an awesome leave in! It's my fav (until I try Biolage). Detangles well, has a nice slip. A wonderful finishing conditioner for the hair.
Lavish Shampoo
Is THE BOMB DIGGITY!!! My scalp & hair feels wonderful afterwards! It really transforms my hair from dull to lustrous, with tons of body! This poo is tied with my other fav CON!
CPR Shampoo
Is nice! It cleanses well, has a very nice slip (as with Motions other poos & conditioners), & my hair feels really strong, yet supple after using this poo. I use it before using CPR conditioner (as recommended).
CPR Conditioner
Is wonderful!!! Despite those irritating "herbal stix" that are infused throughout the conditioner, it's a nice light protein conditioner, safe for weekly use. I never follow it with a moisturizing poo.... no need to. This conditioner is rather moisturing in itself... (( although it is a protein conditioner )).
Motions Foaming Wrap Lotion
Works nicely. However, it is very icky sticky. I stopped using it after my 2nd bottle. I didn't experience any breakage like other members, (( Thank God )), but I stopped usage after being fed up with the sticky feel of it. I figured if I could make my fingers stick together in 1 min, then it was much to sticky/drying for my (relaxed) hair. It works very well & overall is a good product... I recvd sum of my BEST roller sets with it, but I think in the long run, it's capable of backfiring (meaning causing breakage).
Oil Sheen Spray
This is a wonderful oil sheen! Although I don't use it that much (maybe twice a month), it never lets me down when I do decide to use it. It's really oily when applied, yet it penetrates very well (then it's not oily) & gives an awesome lustrous sheen with mega bounce
... & It's a keeper!
Moisture Enriched Pomade
This is a nice moisturizing pomade. The 1st ingredient is water which is always a plus. I'm not thrilled about the chemical (sorta) smell however. Another thing, I used this mostly when I was fully relaxed & poo'd 1x weekly. Then I noticed a build up of this product....it's kinda thick & really heavy. HOWEVER, now that I'm transitioning, it's a wonderful heavy moisturizer to tame my new growth.
Shine Enhancing Pomade
Is really awesome! It does exactly what it claims .... give lustrous shine to the hair! It's oil based (& thick), & well, that's all I use it for....the shine! It washes out really well too.
Let's see, what Motions product did I leave out
Oh, Oh, can't forget this....
Silk Protein Conditioner
OMG, I luv
this conditioner! It's highly kickin
. I've recently added this one (maybe 2 mths ago), & only used it (maybe) 5x. I recvd great results after the 1st use. This keeps my hair very, VERY strong, yet moisturized, soft & healthy looking. It's a wonderful product addition.
There's about 3-4 other motions products that I haven't used... (the relaxers, oil moisturizer (lotion), I believe they have a spritz?? , holding/another oil spray?? & the Colourshine's line (I believe those are hair colors).
I began my regime with this line a yr ago... it worked beautifully on my relaxed hair & is proving itself through my transition as well.
Wishing u the best in ur product search
