Thanks so much for posting this! I was just about to start a thread asking about a good moisturizing conditioner with lots of slip. I'm taking my braids down tomorrow and I haven't had a perm since October, so I will have lots of detangling to do. I'll let you know how the Motions works out!

i have its great with heat.i used to use it ages ago and stopped for no reason.It really helped me when i had really streaked/bleached hair.It gave a great shine and softness..it smelled good to.

Well, I finally went out and bought the conditioner. I was going to get the 30 oz. size, but I decided that I should try the product out before I invest in the largerr size. I plan on trying it out this weekend or maybe tomorrow. I hope it goes well.

Ok, I have to be the odd one out here. I gave away every single one of my Motions products including the big old tub of this product (that tub is huge). I used Motions for years (about 9/10 years). Motions products just don't work for my hair anymore. I may try them again in the future but for the moment they all went to charity.

I'm glad, however, that the products are working for you all.

My only complaint it can weigh the hair down and make it "look" oily.

I wonder is b/c of the mineral oil content? I bought the Silk protein yesterday and mineral oil is the second ingredient on the list, If I like it, i don;t think i will use it every week. I have heard this before from Motion users, that is just stops working after a while.

I think that this product is good because I rotate it. I'm not sure how it would work if I used it every single week as a condition. I have a thing about using the same product every week, I think that my hair would become too used to any product if used every week.

Thanks Britt I rotate it with Motions CPR, NTM Deep Recovery Mask and Humetress just to name a few conditioners in the stash...I'm very much a product junkie especially when it comes to conditioners

Could be. But most of my conditioners contain mineral oil. A lot of the Motions products also have CONES in them and these build up on the hair after a while. Maybe that's why.

hummm, yeah thats true too! I'll know to rotate it. Interesting, one time I used CPR and my hair loved it, but then I used it again like 5 days after and my hair didn't respond as well as it did when i used it the first time ... could be the cones.

Finally found it yesterday and Im going to try it tonite ...I wish I would have picked up the CPR too since everyone say the silk is more moisturinzing than strengthening.

yes, i'm still using it, i love it on relaxed hair keeps it soft and elastic.
