Re: Motions products are really growing on me.

I haven't got around to trying it yet. I think you are supposed to use it like a regular protein conditioner, witha cap under a dryer.

Re: Motions products are really growing on me.

Can Motions products be used on natural hair or are they strictly made for relaxed hair?

Re: Motions products are really growing on me.

My hairdresser uses the shampoo on my hair. I like their moisturizer (when I did use it), but the rest of their products I've tried are doo-doo. Particularly the perms. Blast you!!!!!

Keisha do u moisturize after using the cpr? Does it leave your hair hard and tangly?

nah, it leaves my hair very moisturized with lots of slip! the only bad thing about CPR is that it takes forever to rinse out all the little herbs. i usually find all those little twigs and berries when i'm wrapping my hair afterwards.

Me too. I always moisturize after the CPR with my beloved Humecto or moisturefuze by mizani

Re: Motions products are really growing on me.

Silk Protein conditioner has CPR beat hands down in my opinion! I like the Lavish shampoo and the Nourish leave in. I use the Motions relaxer and it works on my thick hair. I don't worry about being bone straight so a little underprocessed is ok with me. I never tried their oil moisturizers or hairdress because they have mineral oil in them and that's a big no-no for my hair.

I heard about their new herbal line. I'm going to the local BSS to see if we have it up here yet (I'll proably spend 1/2 hour reading the ingredients and convincing myself I should try it!)

Yeah their relaxer is crap, I always wondered why my hair never looked done using their relaxers.

I was thinking this also b/c i know that it is full of little herbs. Oh, do u use it with heat or w/o and how long do u leave it on ?

[/ QUOTE ]

i'm so lazy that i never use it with heat. i usually leave it on for about 5 mins, and i figure that the heat from the shower is good enough.

Re: Motions products are really growing on me.

I use their Lavish Conditioning Shampoo and the CPR Conditioner and I love the results I get. I agree with you all about their relaxer, it sucks big time.

Re: Motions products are really growing on me.

Motions cpr sounds good. I need to try this one. Which motions cpr do everyone use. Do you use the shampoo or something use.

I think people are referring to the protein treatment from the CPR line. You deep conditon with it

Re: Motions products are really growing on me.

I found the silk protein today I will try it over the weekend and see if I like it more than the cpr, nothing has deterred me from my cpr so far so well see.

Re: Motions products are really growing on me.

MOtions is a pretty decent line for the price IMO. I think the Silk protein is waaaay better than the CPR (although I used to use the CPR back in the day when my hair was a hot mess so there was probably nothing that could have saved it). What I hate most about CPR is those blasted nuts and berries in it

I also like the Motions Nourish Leave-in (excellent at detangling) and the Neutralizing shampoo. And altough I'm probably the only one left, I am still a fan of the Motions Regular lye -I've been using it on my 4a hair for about a year with good results.
