I have always loved the CPR, this really stops my shedding instantly. I decided to try the moisture plus conditioner (i dont remember the exact name) and I loooooooooove it. My hair was so soft and manageable. I use a lot of other conditioners too, but this will me on my list from now on. I was surprised by how soft it made my hair. I am not liking their leave in though, it does nothing. What is your favorite motions product?

Re: Motions products are really growing on me.

Well actually the Motions Nourish Leave-in is my favorite product. I also have Motions Neutralizing Shampoo which I like as well.

In the past, I have used Motions hair lotion oil moisturizer and Motions hair and scalp conditioner (grease-like product). Im planning on using more Motions products in the near future.

Re: Motions products are really growing on me.

A girl in one of my classes is taking the swimming class that I had taken when I started having all the hair problems..well she hasn't had a relaxer in I believe she said 2.5 months, but despite the chlorine, her hair looks great! I asked her last night what products she uses...only Motions Lavish stuff...This is on my list to try out soon!

Re: Motions products are really growing on me.

This is my staple line, I will NEVER change. The shampoo and conditioners and treatments are the best ever, my hair feels like silk. I have no desire to try anything else and everyone who I recommend it to agrees.

Re: Motions products are really growing on me.

You've gotta try the Motions Moisture Silk conditioner.

I wanna try this after I run out of some more products.

Re: Motions products are really growing on me.

I've just tried out more of the Motions products today. A few listed the Motions Moisture Plus and the Silk Proteins they are wonderful. So these products are definitely a keeper. Also I just touched up my new growth today with Motions Oil Moisturizer Hair Relaxer, I love it it didn't burn at all. Afterall, I went against my 12 weeks challenge of stretching out my relaxer, but oh well want to look all cute when I go get my hair done tomorrow for my birthday.

Re: Motions products are really growing on me.

I love the Motions line as well. I shampoo with their lavish conditioning shampoo, use their nourish leave-in and CPR to help stop my shedding. I also want to try the moisture plus and silk protein conditioner but im on a product junkie challenge.

Re: Motions products are really growing on me.

Which one is a better protien the CPR or the Silk Protien leave in ?
I like thier shampoo.

Yeah I forgot to mention that I switch off between Motions Relaxer and Elasta QP Relaxer (Mild strength for both). But Elasta QP gets my hair straighter than Motions.

Re: Motions products are really growing on me.

I think I like the CPR better but I was thinking of mixing them. Has anyone done this?

Re: Motions products are really growing on me.

I love the CPR but I want to get the Silk Protein one.

Re: Motions products are really growing on me.

I love the Motions products...I am big fan of the CPR, Silk Protein and Moisture Plus condrs. I also like their oil moisturizer A LOT. Their creme hairdress is also good but I found a cheaper replacement in the B&B Castor Oil creme.

Lately, I've been using a lot of other products so I kind of forgot how good they are in my hair. I used CPR this last wash and my hair seemed to rejoice. I loooovvvveee CPR.

Has anyone tried their new herbal line of products? Just curious. I think I will try some soon.

Re: Motions products are really growing on me.

I tried the CPR last weekend and although I did not like the way it made my hair feel it almost instantly stopped the shedding (it's been a couple of weeks since I took my braids down). I will have to try the Silk Protein soon.

Cinnabuns, how did it make your hair feel? hard and tangly? My hair feels weak and limp when wet

not strong, soft and silky as usual. I was thinking of buying the CPR to pump up the strength a little bit, but then I thought of the Silk Protien, which is more of a moisturizer i think

. Im still going to get the cpr to strengthen my hair.

Re: Motions products are really growing on me.

I hate pretty much all Motions products especially the relaxers and grease..... but uh the foaming wrap lotion is okay.

Lonei, do you know if they sell Motions silk protein conditioner in England, and where?
TIA

Re: Motions products are really growing on me.

If I remember enough the only protein in CPR is collagen. Other than that and mineral oil, I think the rest of the ingredients are just herbs....so I'm not really sure what's milder as far as the CPR and Silk Protein are concerned.

I was just on the Sally website and I noticed that there was a protein reconstructor. How new is this? It also claims that it should be used after CPR stops the breakage. Any reviews on this product?

Re: Motions products are really growing on me.

i like the mositurizing lavishing shampoo(something like that)

Re: Motions products are really growing on me.

I fell in love with the Motions line when I started using their CPR. That stuff is absolutely amazing. I also really like their sheen spray.
Has anyone used the new Herbal Motions? I want to try out their mango butter, if it's any good.

Re: Motions products are really growing on me.

Keisha do u moisturize after using the cpr? Does it leave your hair hard and tangly?

nah, it leaves my hair very moisturized with lots of slip! the only bad thing about CPR is that it takes forever to rinse out all the little herbs. i usually find all those little twigs and berries when i'm wrapping my hair afterwards.

Re: Motions products are really growing on me.

I love the shampoo and conditioner...I had switched to it after running out of my Design Essentials shampoo and being low on funds and my hair barely knew the difference. I still use the conditioner sometimes, and anytime I need shampoo/conditioner and my money is funny, their line has great products for a cheap price!

Also the motions foaming wrap lotion is good for wrapping/roller setting.

I tried the CPR a LONG time ago and didnt care for it but probably bc at the time my hair was in such bad shape there was nothing that was going to help it at that point! Ill have to try it again for shedding issues Im having, but for now I need to stick with the million products I already have and try to solve my problems!

Yes, I've tried the Regular and Mild, Moisturizing and Oil ones....... they suck. It under processed my hair.. it would look straight for maybe a week after.. but after that.. POOF! It also burned up something fierce.

Re: Motions products are really growing on me.

Yeah, their relaxer left me pretty underprocessed the one time i used it.

Re: Motions products are really growing on me.

Britt- I have some soft sheen doutex that I bought for 1.99. It is on sale for 1/2 gallon at that price. It is a collagen based protein. Let me know if you are interested and I will pick one up for you for Saturday. Doesn't get any cheaper than that!
