Mother Angelica Ewtn

Mother Angelica passed on Easter Sunday. She along with a Deacon founded the Eternal Word Television Network.

I love some of her sayings and she was truly a remarkable woman.

May she rip.
@mensa... She was so precious. I was always blessed listening to her. May her dear heart rest in peace. I'm certain that she will because she extended so much love and peace to so many others.

Hey Shimmie,

She was such a wise woman with a marvelous sense of humor. She once said that she was intrigued when Christians thought they were really doing something because they gave up sugar for Lent. She said that was no big deal. "How bout instead of giving up sweets for lent, we start to become more sweeter to our neighbors? How bout we become a piece of chocolate to them?" (lol)

Wise words indeed...

@mensa....

I LOVE that... 'to be chocolate to them...' :love2:

I will always 'see' her as she sits in that chair and just ministers her heart to all who listen. I really loved the 'quiet' soul that she extended to everyone. She was a gentle, loving and yet very humorous loving being. God rest her precious soul. I truly mean this. :love2:

Yeah, "quiet." LOL. She was a true card! She had a way of telling you off and you didn't get mad.

So sad to hear of her passing, but glad that she gave us so many wise words. I was just watching one of her talks where she talked about vocations and how we all are called to live out some aspect representing God. It was beautiful and refreshing. She had a great sense of humor, and she was filled with so much faith.

RIP, Mother Angelica.
