I was wondering if you ladies find that the more new growth you have, the less you are inclined to wash. My wash days are Wed and Sat. But since I'm now 8wks post, I think I might wash once a week (Sat) to cut down on the manipulation for the ng. It's a jungle in there, so the less I disturb it, I think the better we will get along. The only thing is, I like doing my deep cond twice a week. I'm scheduled to get a touch up on Sat, but I think that I'm going to cancel and stretch until 10 wks. It will be my first 10 wk stretch. What are you ladies doing different when you get quite a bit of ng.

Well, no more of that. It all hangs down while I wash - slowly and gently applying pressure to massage my scalp, but I'm careful not to tangle. I don't use a comb of any sort in the shower - it just doesn't work for me. Kenra moisturing shampoo and conditioner are GREAT for my hair. I'm still experimenting with deep conditioners. Once I'm finished with my shower duties, I let my hair air dry almost 50%, add my (for now) CHI keratin mist, and with my wide-tooth comb, I comb through. This is better for me than combing through "towel-dried" hair (and I'm careful not to rub my hair or wring it in the towel - I just squeeze to get rid of the excess water. I do add leave-ins like NTM or Rusk, but I'm still experimenting - and I use a serum or oil to seal.
.......yet.
I read the first post and started hearing, "It's like a jungle sometimes it makes me wonder how I keep from going under."
