I tried your S-curl tip (yes my hair twin made me cave and i'm glad she did). All i have to say is taht its wonderful /images/graemlins/angel.gif no it really is! As someone with like 3inches of new growth, gettign my hair to lay down is a task. the scurl made my hair lay straight... i'm getting relaxer flashbacks. Its a great alternative. I think it'll help me transition smoother.
Here's what i did:
oiled w/ WGO and covered my hair last night w/ satin scarf
my hair looked great, but poofy after removing the scarf. so i decided to try adrienne's method
Sprayed scurl in my hand and applied it to new growth then rest of hair
Sealed it in with WGO and ORS carrot oil mix,
put satin scarf back on and removed it when i got to work and voila... very nice results....

I wish i would've done this to my hair sooner.. i probably would've retaind more length by now

You'e right beana3. It's really the best advice and comes in handy. Particularly in this cold weather. It's 4 degrees outside today. I can't believe it. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

I love this method because it's so EASY! I can do my shampoo/condition regimen and then throw my hair up into a ponytail and go. I was only able to shampoo once a week cause rolling/wrapping took so much time that I didn't have but now I can shampoo more often.

And what's even better is that my hair really does dry straight. I can take down the high pony, spray a little more S-curl on it and smooth it down into a bun at the back of my head for a different look. I like to apply Profectiv Healthy Ends to the ends on top of the activator and then braid it up and tuck it into a bun. I swear my ends stay super-moist and protected.

I'm absolutely loving this!

Another fan here, Adrienne! /images/graemlins/smile.gif When I first read your posts about S-Curl, I thought, "Uh-uh, not ME!" But then I started to experience increased breakage and thought that it couldn't hurt to try. GIRL, I am in love! Still, when I bought it, I almost made the saleslady put it in a brown paper bag. /images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Thanks!

wow...this sounds like a great product. However, for the ladies that are using relaxers, does the s-curl spray negatively affect the new growth when you get a touch-up? /images/graemlins/ohwell.gif

OK another product I have to try I'm aiming for 16 weeks without a touch up or close to it. /images/graemlins/nono.gif This is getting ridiculous. Just for one week can people NOT actually like any product on this board.

BIG UP Adrienne!!!

I was SOOOO sceptical to try this but its the best moisturizer for regrowth stages. You get soft, moisturized hair all day long!!

Adrienne, your too good. /images/graemlins/notworthy.gif

BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Do any of you like the gel or is this just the results of the s-curl spray? I may have to get the spray too! (After I run out of Dew as I think it's the same thing since there's so much glycerin..)

Leisha are you laughing at my plight? /images/graemlins/mad.gif This is so hard. I was drawn to the hair shop this evening. EVERY thursday I go in there without fail and I never realised this until today. You know what stopped me...The fact I purposely left my cash card at home and had no cash on me.

jk. Whassup girl! /images/graemlins/grin.gif

hey, i'm glad this is working for all of you!! i wish i could take credit for it, but most of the tips that i pass on i got from someone else. i think this actually came from devjam back in the day at BHSGO. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

moni, my hair is also relaxed. i guess you're asking if it interferes if you have it on your hair when you get a retouch? if so, i haven't noticed any interference, and the relaxer is only left on my hair briefly.

I'm sorry Londondiva.. i just couldn't hold it in!!!! I'm loving this technique, plus i liked the ingredients, very nice. Who woulda thought??? S-curl juice! BTW i have not tampered with my hair AT all since yesterday. And its still shining. adrienne is a hair saver for rec'ing this!
My hair routine fell apart in terms of wekly maintenance, i have the products and techniques down for washing, condit, and detangling, but i couldn't think of ways to style it during the week. this is a keeper.
BTW i promise not to post about any new products for TWO weeks LD... /images/graemlins/angeldevil.gif ok i may be lying !

It's ok I was just jesting. There is no more room for anything on my shelf anymore.

Ahhh decisions decisions /images/graemlins/nono.gif
