Ladies how do you get more space on fotki? Do you have to switch to premium?

Nope u don't have to pay... here's what u do:
- click on "Go To" on the top of ur fotki page (the little compass)
- Go all the way to the bottom of the menu and click My Settings
- Under Account Information select Request More Space (or sumthin like that)
- And you'll get 10MB- you have to wait a month before u can request more

Well, you can pay the bucks or just remember to add space for free- Just:
~go into the about me section
~ scroll to the bottom of the page and click on edit profile
~Click cancel and at the next page find the account info section and click on "ask for 10 mb for free space"-
Every 30 days fotki increases your MBs for free but you must remember to ask for it!

i also add on 10mb every month. i now have 110mb instead of the standard 50mb.
as well as this, i've made fotki delete the original uploaded photo. you can do that from your settings page. the original photo can take up a lot of space, especially if you do not edit the pictures before you upload. unedited camera pictures are totally massive and will eat a lot of fotki space.

but my fotki is huge....so I dunno
I know what you mean. At first I was like 'what?'. Then I was like, well, my Fotki is pretty huge (the private area, not the public area). I guess we're paying for all of their additional storage space.

... the last time i went it allowed me to add 20MB more space. I am now at 100MB. I thought the only difference was that if you had a premium membership, you didn't get those annoying (sometime naked/sexy lady) ads all over your page...

yeah its ad free with other extra options but its also endless space

kewl...i just keep requesting space every 30 days...this makes me wonder if they will ever put a cap on it...Like one time i try, i might get a message like "sorry, but we are unable to process your request for additional storage space at this time..."

Nahh--I don't think so!
I'm currently at 140 MB..........and currently patiently waiting for my priviledge to get MORE space!

i wasnt gonna come in here...but Im so GLAD i did!...i just reached my max. Space trying to update my fotki....but was not gonna pay the money for unlimited space. I was two secs from getting rid of some albums just to update my fotki but now im glad to hear i dont have to. This thread is a lifesaver

lol. you're right, fotki now gives you 20mb free every 30 days if you request it.re bold: the thing is that you don't see the ads on fotki. however, even if you've paid for space, those who haven't will see ads all over your page. so that's just pointless to me. it's easy to ignore ads anyway, imo.
you also get some pointless additional features (photo selling, entry into photo contests, ftp uploading...fotki gives you tons of upload options without subscription though).
