I started this journey with less hair than the first pic in the comparison shot.


This is where I started from. Sorry the picture quality is so poor. I took it with my 35 mm camera. This was taken 10/07. It had all fallen out and was damaged. I was desperate.

All in all, I'm not where I want to be but I'm better than where I was.

Thanks. I had tons of them. I learned that I can't airdry. My hair ended up matting and I lost a lot from that. A stylist put a relaxer in my hair and didn't neutralize properly. When I first started stretching my relaxers I had tangles. Just to name a few. It has not been easy but I am motivated. I can estimate that I retained about 6 inches of hair because some places didn't have hair when I started, I was so embarrassed. I now have enough hair to bun.
