I want to use a hair polish but the few I have tried seem so drying. Can any of you recommend some that are not drying?

Proclaim Glossing polish contains aloe, what germ oil, Sweet Almond oil, Safflower oil, canola and castor oil. I've been using it for three years with no problem of dryness.

That is at Sally's right.

I JUST saw Fantasia IC Hair Polisher OLIVE Serum this weekend. I was tempted to pick it up on my shopping spree, because I'd never seen it...but I really don't use serums anymore. It's in the same packagine as the Fantasia Serums regular (white and clear bottle) and Color Treated (blue and blue tinted clear bottle) This one was green and green tinted clear bottle.

I have only tried Fantasia IC hair polisher for color treated hair (blue bottle)and it works just fine and smells great.NTM serum is also good too for shine and frizzes.

I don't know about a hair polish or serum, but to get my hair shinier, I spray on Silk Elements brand MegaSilk Heat Protectant Spray. You can find it at Sally’s. It is light enough to use on damp or dry hair, doesn't have that "sticky slick" feel many serums have, and provides a nice shine. It smells nice too!!

If not, I did used to mix a thick hair polishers (like John Frieda Frizz-Ease Hair Serum) with some jojoba or olive oil to conteract the drying effects. The oil also made the polish easier to distribute throughout my hair.

I would say Aveda Emollient gloss for sure. But for a cheaper alternative I would say NTM serum. It has very good ingredients and it is very light. The ingredients are:

Cyclopentasiloxane, Hexamethyl Disiloxane, Dimethiconol, Cyclohexasiloxane, Phenyl Trimethicone, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Aminopropyl Dimethicone, Olive Fruit Oil (olea europaea), Meadowfoam Seed Oil (limnanthes alba), Sweet Almond Oil (prunus amygdalus dulcis), BHT, Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane, Fragrance

I second the Aveda Emollient gloss. Also Frederick Fekkai Olive Oil Glossing Cream is excellent!!
