Question Mobile app separating Sticky threads

I just noticed that there is a separation of regular threads and sticky threads. I just posted this in the Thanksgiving 2014 thread:

You know, I forget about this thread because it is listed under Stickies instead of the regular thread. I typically view the forum on my phone, and the mobile version separates the Stickies under a separate tab. Is there a setting to change this?

I just wonder if threads may potentially being forgotten about or completely missed due to this, and if others have the same user experience.
