If coconut oil is antifungal, antiviral, and antibacterial, wouldn't it be the natural equivalent to MN (miconazole nitrate) ? Or is that only internally? Theoretically, it should help as well as MN does. No? :perplexed

Personally coconut oil has helped my hair well, but I don't think that I can say that it is the same and will offer the same benefits as MN but of course I have never thought to compare the growth from that to the growth from the MN mostly because my MN mix has coconut in it to help combat the headaches I was getting with using MN straight.

Both products have the same healing properties, I guess it will just depend on how your hair response to the products.
