What's the difference between Miconazole Nitrate and Monistat???

I haven't tried any of the hair growth products recommended yet (MTG, BT, MN). I'm a bit overwhelmed to tell you the truth but I figured it would be simplest to start out with something I'm familiar with and I know where to get it from which is Monistat.

Today I bought Monistat 7 4% cream, but now that I see everyone calling it Miconazole Nitrate I'm not sure if I got the right stuff. Is Monistat the same as Miconazole Nitrate or is there something in Miconazole Nitrate that Monistat doesn't have?

MN is the active ingredient, Monistat is the product's name. Therefore Monistat contains MN.
