i saw the ad in a magazine but its so new when i tried to look it up i couldn't find it. the mizani site doesn't even show it. how am i supposed to research it?

i cant see the names except the bottle in front that says Reconstructing Gelee, and the lil tube that says Reconstructing Concentrated Capsule...dang, just had a quick thought of protein overload for some reason.

Some poor stylist-believin soul bein told she needs to use the whole system every week. Then when her hair is hard as a rock she gotta spend more money on the whole mizani moisture system(do they have one?) Mizani aint cheap yall!

THE APPLICATION
3-STEP RENEW STRENGTH RECONSTRUCTIVE SYSTEM
This quick customizable system used in synergy provides an ultimate
salon experience while helping to reconstruct weak, damaged hair; as
well as, increase hair’s elasticity and strength.
It is recommended to perform an elasticity test before
beginning services to help determine and diagnose the
appropriate conditioner based on the client’s hair type.

STEP 1
RENEW STRENGTH FORTIFYING SHAMPOO
1. Apply a generous amount of RENEWSTRENGTH FORTIFYING
SHAMPOO into wet hair.
2. Lather and massage into hair for 1-2 minutes.
3. Rinse hair thoroughly.
4. For extra cleansing and fortification repeat process if necessary.
5. PROCEED to STEP 2: RENEWSTRENGTH RECONSTRUCTING
GELEE OR RENEW STRENGTH RECONSTRUCTING MASQUE.

CHOOSE RENEW STRENGTH RECONSTRUCTING GELEE

1. Determine appropriate conditioner based on diagnosis
during consultation.
2. Apply a generous amount of RENEW STRENGTH
RECONSTRUCTING GELEE OR RENEW STRENGTH
RECONSTRUCTING MASQUE to the hair.
3. Massage in and distribute evenly throughout hair.
4. After 3-5 minutes, rinse hair thoroughly.
5. PROCEED to STEP 3: RENEWSTRENGTH RECONSTRUCTING

HOW DO I PERFORM AN ELASTICITY TEST TO DETERMINE WHICH CONDITIONER TO USE?​

To test elasticity, dampen four different areas on the head. Select strands
of hair from each area. Be sure the hair is wet. Hold the strand securely
and stretch the hair. If the hair stretches and returns to its original length
when released, then it has good elasticity. If the hair breaks or doesn't
return to its former shape, hair is experiencing low elasticity.
*Signs of poor elasticity:When the hair is wet, it feels spongy, limp, tangles
easily and stretches excessively without returning to its normal position.

CAN THIS SYSTEM BE USED ON RELAXED, NATURAL, OR COLOR TREATED HAIR?​

Yes. This system can be used on ANY hair type that suffers from breakage
and severe cuticle and fiber degradation due to chemical, thermal, mechanical
aggressors, and/or environmental damage. With continued use, this system
is designed to reconstruct the entire hair strand from the inside out of any hair
type that is relaxed, natural, or color treated. However, it is not recommended
that this system be used the same day as relaxer. It can be used 3 days prior
or after a relaxer service. This COMPLETE system and service is only available

The only thing I did not like was the smell. It's too perfumyerplexed. I will continue to use up the bottle but I don't know if I will repurchase due to the strong perfumy smell.

I used the Gelee last week and it was great. It looks like a crystal clear gel but it makes your hair incredibly soft and strong. I only left it on for 5 minutes without heat. But, you can deep condition with it for 10 minutes with heat.

My stylist is going to use the capsule treatment on me next week. So, I will have to report back on that one.

Hi Ladies,
The girl at Trade Secret gave me a ton of samples of this line. I used it about 2 weeks ago. I did not like the shampoo, it made hair feel kind of hard and stripped. I used the masque instead of the gelee and it did make my hair feel a bit stronger, but it left it kind of hard. I don't think that I would actually buy these products. Aphogee and K-pac work much better with my hair.

P.S.
The smell can be a bit overwhelming, it's like a really heavy perfume type smell.

Bumping - I got some samples from my stylist and would like to know if anyone else has tried it. Is it worth using? I normally use Aphogee 2 min, but I just ran out and can't go out of my way to buy more right now.
