I used it for a few months and it's not as moisturizing as i would like...my hair would dry out too quickly. Now i use Qhemet Biologics Burdock Root Cream and it keeps my hair moisturized and soft.
I was just searching for reviews online for this product.
I have it and am using it but i'm not sure if its right for my hair. Its very light so i'm putting quite alot of it on in sections. I was told by my hairdresser to use it sparingly but if i do my hair is not moisturised enough especially as i have a years worth of regrowth.
At the rate i'm using it, the jar will be finished in a month and the stuff is expensive.
My hair is however soft and feels nourished rather than oily and doesn't feel weighed down. I'm sealing with a little EVOO or Wheatgerm Oil afterwards.
I concur with dachsies_rule!'s and bublin's reviews. It does smell yummy though.
Also, there is no mineral oil or petroleum in the the butter, so that's a good point if you are avoiding those two chemicals.
This was used on me when I went to a salon for a deep conditioning treatment (it was put on before the DC, right after a shampoo). Didn't like it. It smells really nice, but for all it did to my hair, I could've splashed water on it and got the same effect. No good for me, anyways.
I tried it and didn't like it. I think cocoa butter is in it and my hair does not do well with that butter. I preferred the Coconut Souffle. I just add more coconut oil and/or avocado butter to make it heavier.
