Mizani Butter Blends TAKE TWO!

Well tonight I'm doing my second relaxer with the Butter Blends kit and I'm loving it even more than the first time. Now I'm sitting under a cap with the perphecting conditioner. This conditioner is amaizing.

After rinsing the relaxer (which straightens and rinses like a dream) my hair had that really healthy weight to it that Isis was talking about and it looked so much shinier and darker than it usually does wet.

I cant wait to get it dry. If you haven't tried this kit and you like lye I HIGHLY recommend it. You can search the board for the other Mizani Butter Blends Threads.

I"m so glad you made this thread. I have never used Mizani before but was contemplating buying the salon size. I don't thin 2oz of conditioner, etc is going to be enough for my hair.

I'm glad this is working for you. So you hair feels heavier, stronger? How about smoother?

I am glad it worked for you. I acutally relaxed today with regular mizani for fine/color treated hair. When I run out of it and considering one of my sisters used it too, I will try the butterblends one.

OMG! I was just going to start a thread about this!

I purchased the salon size from payne's, and used the mild formula this weekend (saturday night).

I agree with all of the statements here, the relaxer leaves your hair heavy, strong, smooth, and silky; no stripped, thin feeling whatsoever. I REALLY like it and would recommend it to anyone. It's a dream for my fine strands.

The shampoo and conditioner also leave the hair smelling marvelous.

The only thing is i'm not to sure about the micro fusion spray, it smells a bit alcoholy... I'll have to see next time, but overall, I am definitely sticking with this!

I think I should add that I just relaxed the leave-out portion of my own hair that I leave out to blend my extensions (tiny center horseshoe).

The rest of my hair that is tucked away is natural, and when I relax it (virgin application), I will be using this system. (Yeah, I like it that much)!

I wouldn't have either. I actually used the regular line in my first year of college (not sure of the strength though) and it left my hair very limp, you know that limp relaxed feeling. I swore it off, but Butter Blends is much different, at least to my hair...
