MIXING NON-AVEDA AND AVEDA PRODUCTS

Hey Ladies,

This weekend I decided to try Aveda Brilliant Conditioner. I started off with Roux PC as a prepoo, then pooed with Aveda Sap Moss, then Brilliant con. The Brilliant conditioner had my hair feeling like straw . I also noticed that the Sap Moss poo didn't lather as richly as it normally does. In the past I tried to used Keracare poo with Aveda DR con and that was a mess too. So, has anyone else had a bad experience with mixing Aveda products with non Aveda items? Which ones?

I use my Aveda DR conditioner just about every time I do my hair now and I haven't had any problems mixing. But that stuff is too good.
