Missing Piece of the Bible Reunited....What do you think?

I can sometimes be a bit of a conspiracy theorist, so you may want to take what I have to say with a grain of salt.

I think everything we need to read in the Bible is present. I don't think God will punish us if there ARE other books we didn't know about and chose not to read. He would have provided insight to many who follow Him about missing information a long time ago.

me too. I believe in my heart and soul that the Bible is whole and complete as it is, and that God intended for it to be that way. I do understand though that during the times that the Bible was being written and documented, that there were other texts that those people studied and drew from and while that is great knowledge, I don't consider those works Holy.

I have been reading Exodus so the text sounds very similar. What do you think? Could there still be more biblical text we have yet to discover?

most definately YES! :yep:

however, the bible is lest we forget a collection of various writings and that collection will never be "complete". even if new texts were added, there are texts or writings that were deliberately excluded from the current bible as well as texts that have been forever lost or yet to be discovered.

the bible in its current form is only a few hundred years old. there was no "bible" in "bible days" there were scrolls and other writings none of which have been found. we only have transcriptions of those scrolls/texts that scholars compiled into one book.

as the bible is now, it contains all that a beliver needs to live a sin-free, victorious life in christ.
