exactly that's perfectly fine, you can use it right away. But you shouldn't worry if you do let it sit 15-20 mins. It will still work fine. It should because the indigo is still coloring your hair when it's on your hair (leaving it on there for about 2-3 hrs), and if it didn't work then there would be no color.
I just need my hubby's beard the other night and I let both henna and indigo sit out for a bit. Henna about 30 mins, and the indigo about 15 mins, and then combined it and he used it. His hair looks perfect!

The bolded is what I do when I apply indigo. I leave it on my hair for 2 hours=superb dye uptake:yep:.

Ladies, I have a question about using deep conditioners after rinsing Henna out. I realize you should not use a protein condtioner for dt's however, can you use DC's that have a moisture/protein mix, ie...Kenra moisturizing conditioner? (I believe the protein is listed toward the end of ingredients).

Because of where the hydrolyzed wheat protein (which incidently is a moisturizing protein by the way) is on the bottle, this is a moisturizing conditioner. The protein is too far down the ingredients list to be considered even a remotely mild protein conditioner.
