Ok so I know we all strive for healthy long hair but let's list our mini goals?? Are you searching for ways to make your hair shinier, softer, stronger, thicker etc??

And if you see that someone has listed a mini-goal that you have already achieved, post the solution that worked for you.

My Mini-goal

My first mini-goal is to have shinier hair. I have a nice sheen now but i want bling-bling shine:)

My second mini-goal is to find a protective style that is quickly, will dry overnight and allow me to sleep comfortably

My third mini-goal is to learn more styles for my hair

My fourth goal is to figure out a regimen that works for my exercise routine

The Mini-Goals I have Achieved

Got a product line that works for my hair

Got my hair to be strong yet soft by pre-pooing with protein and then con with moisture

Got rollersetting down by learning how to roll-up, using less products and lots of water

Got the rollerwrap straight look down

Share your mini-goals and achievements!!!

Mini Goals:
1. Grow my thinning edges back
2. Stop hair frome breaking
3. Stop split ends
4. Thicken up hair

Goals achieved by:
1. Stretching relaxers from 4 wks to 8 wks now to 10wks and keeping tension off of that part of my hair.
2. Mega-Tek ( It stopped the breakage in its tracks)
3. Baggie Method
4. Put castor oil in my conditioners and moisturizers

Great thread Macherieamour! I'm fairly new to this site, but I am already seeing a vast improvement in the condition of my hair. OK, so my current mini goals are:

*Continue to successfully stretch relaxers (I'm on my 2nd cycle now)
*Gain at least 1 more inch growth before my next touch-up

Goals Acheived, thus far:
*Thickened up hair (stretching, castor oil, vitamins, sporadic use of MTG)

*Front hairline filling in nicely (work in progress!). I believe JA Black castor oil along with saran wrapping edges with baggie over the top at night has helped tremendously.

*NG maintenence (baggie, castor oil, co-washing, minimum manipulation)

*Improved moisture retention (baggied method and co-washing)

*Minimal hair loss from either breakage or shedding (protein and moisture balance, which means less protein for my hair).

IMHO, nothing beats coconut oil to enhance shine on healthy hair!

My mini goals

increase retention of ends
increase growth
perfect rollerset
find one product line that works (I don't really think that this is possible with my hair. Different things work at different times)

Goals reached:
dramatically changed health of my hair
stretched relaxers (14 weeks the first time! :)) I am on week 8 of the second try
dramatically decreased the use of heat
found the right gel for the perfect bun! ;)

My mini goals:
To learn as much as I can about my hair
To drastically reduce the amount of cone/paraben/SLS
filled products that I use
To learn how to use dust/S&D method instead of trims

Goals achieved:
Learned to love and appreciate my hair texture/thickness
Learning to style my hair without using heat
Learning to give my hair the TLC it deserves

Thats all for now!

Learning to stretch relaxers
