I had those before, I LOVED them.....*thinks back to those days* anywhoo that is not what they called them. When I had it done they called them invisible braids. Basically your hair is braided (smaller box type braids) and they leave a bit of hair out every so many centimeters down the braid. You can only really see the braids in the front and the top crown area when you wear it with straight hair. If you look at the wavy hair pics closely you are able to see the braids more becuase the wavy hair doesnt lay against the braid the same as the straight.

I had them before and LOVED them. I would have the invisible braid upfront and regular sewin in the back. DShy, just think of them as any other type of braid as far as stretching relaxers.

I never had braids before..lol so im not sure how it would go as far as stretching....but im willing to try, do you know how long they would take to do them...? and what type of hair is the best could I use the bulk remi with these or would the hair slip out...?
TIA

My friend and I got our hair braided together, she got lacing.

Just make sure that if you get lacing done, that the braider is not sealing the braid with glue. The woman that was doing my friends hair was actually sealing her braids with nail glue!

I don't know about anywhere else but in the DC area mostly the west african braiders use this technique.

I have done it before and I didn't know that was the name..lol. Basically I start braiding and after 1" in I start releasing some of the synthethic hair out of the braid as I work my way down.
